Plantify: A Bingo-Inspired App

I created a bingo-inspired game that would guide users on how to identify different plants in a national park. While exploring nature, park visitors could search for the plants on the app’s randomly-generated bingo card. Searching for these plants would allow visitors to be able to identify and appreciate the diverse species of the park.

Lo-fi Wireframes of Plantify: Sketching out the layout & determining user actions

During the creation of my low-fidelity wireframes, I wanted the app to be as intuitive as possible. If users wanted to view one of the plant images closer, they could simply tap on it to reveal a detailed photo, along with features to help them identify it easier.

Hi-Fi Wireframes: Color, typography, icons, logos, and images

When I transitioned to my high-fidelity wireframes, I wanted to add something inviting and engaging for park visitors, especially the young ones. I decided to incorporate the art elements of the popular video game, Animal Crossing. I felt it was an educational application of a style that is so beloved and already associated with a sense of fun.
